摘要:
Klotho protein demonstrates significant cardioprotective effects against heart ischemia/reperfusion injury by mitigating oxidative and nitrosative stress through the regulation of the NOS/MMP signaling pathway. This study utilized both in vitro human cardiomyocyte cultures and ex vivo isolated rat hearts, revealing Klotho's potential as a therapeutic target for cardiovascular diseases. The findings suggest that Klotho could play a crucial role in improving heart function and recovery post-injury, highlighting its importance in managing ischemic heart conditions.
