摘要:
Murraya koenigii methanolic extract (MKM) exhibits significant antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus and Enterococcus faecalis, with minimum inhibitory concentrations of 39 µg/mL and 48.8 µg/mL, respectively. The extract disrupts biofilm formation and reduces extracellular polymeric substance production, indicating its potential as a novel therapeutic agent against biofilm-associated infections. Molecular docking studies reveal strong binding affinities of MKM-derived compounds with key biofilm-related proteins, suggesting a promising avenue for combating antibiotic resistance.
