摘要:
Capsinoids, a class of non-pungent TRPV1 agonists, have been shown to induce mild hypothermia in conscious mice, presenting a novel pharmacological approach for therapeutic hypothermia in ischemic stroke. This study highlights the potential of capsinoids to activate heat defense mechanisms while suppressing cold defense responses, thereby improving the efficacy of hypothermia protocols. The findings suggest significant implications for enhancing neuroprotection in stroke patients, warranting further exploration in clinical settings.
