摘要:
Thiorphan, identified through an in silico screening process, demonstrates significant potential for enhancing neuronal regeneration and functional recovery after spinal cord injury. In vitro studies showed a 1.8-fold increase in neurite outgrowth, while in vivo tests in rats indicated marked improvements in forelimb function when combined with neural stem cell grafts. The drug's efficacy was further validated in cultures of human and monkey cortical neurons, suggesting a promising pathway for clinical translation in treating spinal cord injuries.
