摘要:
Luteolin, a natural flavonoid, shows promise in mitigating dry age-related macular degeneration (AMD) through its antioxidant properties and modulation of key signaling pathways. This study combines network pharmacology with experimental validation, identifying 213 therapeutic targets and demonstrating luteolin's protective effects on retinal pigment epithelial (RPE) cells. The findings suggest that luteolin enhances cell viability, reduces oxidative stress, and stabilizes mitochondrial function, positioning it as a potential therapeutic candidate for dry AMD management.
