摘要:
This study investigates (Z)-endoxifen as a potential therapy for glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) through computational and experimental analyses. Utilizing an AI platform, the research identifies GBM as a promising indication for endoxifen, which has shown efficacy in reducing cell proliferation and inducing apoptosis in GBM cell lines. Despite promising in vitro results, in vivo studies did not demonstrate significant tumor regression, highlighting the need for further investigation. The findings underscore the potential of repurposing endoxifen for GBM treatment, emphasizing its complex mechanisms of action and the urgent need for novel therapeutic approaches in this aggressive cancer.
