摘要:
Apigenin-loaded exosome-like vesicles (Apig-exo) demonstrate significant potential in treating triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) by enhancing the efficacy of apigenin, a dietary flavonoid. The study reveals that Apig-exo not only reduces TNBC cell viability but also induces apoptosis through modulation of critical microRNA pathways and epigenetic reactivation of tumor suppressor genes like BRCA1 and STING. These findings highlight the innovative use of exosome technology to improve drug delivery and therapeutic outcomes in aggressive cancer types.

关键证据
Apigenin-loaded exosome-like vesicles significantly reduced MDA-MB-231 TNBC cell viability to 48.2%.
Apig-exo induced robust apoptosis (89.23% total, 82.8% early apoptosis).
Apig-exo effectively reactivated BRCA1 and STING through promoter demethylation.
