摘要:
Ailanthone (AIL), a natural compound, effectively inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) progression by inducing ferroptosis and disrupting mitochondrial homeostasis. The study reveals that AIL interacts with HSP90, promoting the degradation of GPX4, a key regulator of ferroptosis. In vitro and in vivo experiments demonstrate AIL's potential as a novel therapeutic agent against HCC, especially when combined with GPX4 inhibitors, showcasing a promising avenue for cancer treatment.
