摘要:
Sargassum horneri, a brown seaweed, exhibits significant anti-inflammatory and anti-obesity effects through its bioactive compounds. The study demonstrates its ability to reduce inflammation by inhibiting the NF-κB pathway and activating the Nrf2/HO-1 signaling pathway. In vivo experiments on high-fat diet-induced obese mice revealed that S. horneri treatment led to decreased body weight, fat accumulation, and improved lipid profiles. These findings suggest that S. horneri could serve as a natural therapeutic agent for managing obesity and related inflammatory disorders.
